Ranked Choice Voting for Texas

RCV for Texas is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, volunteer-run organization. We advocate for adoption of RCV in Texas. Our approach is to pass incremental legislation so Texans can see how it works, one type of election at a time. We advocate to use RCV for military and overseas voters, in primaries and special elections, and as a local option for nonpartisan municipal and school board elections.

Founded in the summer of 2019, we have a 501(c)(3) organization for our voter education efforts and a 501(c)(4) organization for legislative advocacy. We educate and rally support from the general public so supporters and volunteers can persuade legislators to pass enabling legislation.
